Nanotechnology College Hosts NanoCareer Day for More Than 300 Students

f nanotechnology-related career opportunities in the Capital Region and New York State.

The daylong event included presentations by CNSE faculty on the emerging science of nanotechnology and the career opportunities it offers; hands-on demonstrations explaining the role of nanoscale research and development; and tours of CNSE's Albany NanoTech Complex, with tools and facilities that are unmatched in the university setting.

Participating schools, and their counties, included: Albany High School (Albany); O'Rourke Middle School, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake CSD (Saratoga/Schenectady); Mohonasen High School (Schenectady); Saratoga Springs High School (Saratoga); Menands Middle School (Albany); Watervliet Junior/Senior High School (Albany); Schenectady High School (Schenectady); Berlin High School (Rensselaer); Ballston Spa Middle School, 5th Grade Young Scholars class (Saratoga); and Worcester High School, Worcester Central School District (Otsego).
